First Aid training

Emergency First Response (EFR) is the fastest growing international CPR, Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) and First Aid training organisation. Whether you're a diver or non-diver, Emergency First Response courses will prepare you to handle situations all the way up to the potentially life-threatening ones. It will make you feel confident that you can provide care should an emergency situation arise. An important skill for the workplace,  everyday life and for all the family!

Our First Aid Courses implement the latest 2015 guidelines and are delivered by experienced first aid trainers

What do I need to start?

Absolutely no prior experience or certifications are required. There is no minimum age limit. The basic courses are for anyone of any age.

Emergency First Response For Adults

Covering Primary and Secondary First Aid, this course is ideal for this wanting to be able to assist casualties.

Emergency First Response For Children

 

This course looks at the differences in First Aid and Basic Life Support needed when the casualty is an infant or child and covers both primary and secondary first aid.

First Aid at Work (3 days)

This course follows the HSE recommended syllabus and is aimed at your workplace environment.  This course includes AED and also the use of tourniquets and haemostatic dressings where the workplace environment indicates the need.  For divers, it includes the use of oxygen administration.

Emergency First Aid at Work (1 day)

Looking mainly at life threatening conditions, this 1 day course follows the HSE guidelines for the work environment.

  • First Aid at Work Refresher(2 days)

 

Is your first aid at work certificate about to expire?  From 2 months prior to expiry to 1 month afterwards, you can renew your certification with a 2 day refresher which includes assessment

  • First Aid at Work Annual Update (3 hours)

 

Refresh your skills on an annual basis by getting your first aiders together for this annual update.  Covers any changes that might have occurred since you last did emergency first aid and gives you lots of practice with CPR and AED.

Emergency Oxygen Provider

 

Oxygen is the main first aid measure for divers who are involved in a diving accident.  Learn about different diving conditions and how oxygen can help as a first aid measure. This course looks at Basic Life Support and Oxygen enhanced Rescue Breaths. This course is for everyone involved in diving.
